Job Title: Commercial Analyst

Sector: Data Centre Infastructure

Location: US Relocation

Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 plus excellent benefits

Our Client

Our client is a large international organisation operating in the rapidly growing Data Centre sector. The division consists of multiple businesses across the Americas, all experiencing significant growth as they scale to meet increasing demand.

The business has expanded through a number of recent acquisitions, with further growth planned through both organic expansion and additional acquisitions.

Why should you apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-growth international division at an exciting stage of its development. The role offers the opportunity to relocate to the US and, working directly with senior leadership, you will gain exposure across finance, operations, commercial performance, M&A integration and strategic projects.

The position goes significantly beyond traditional financial reporting. You will work across multiple businesses, getting into the detail of their financial and operational performance and providing actionable insights to support tactical and strategic decisions. There will also be exposure to acquisitions, integration projects, capital investment and operational improvement initiatives.

Who should apply?

This role will suit an ambitious qualified accountant or commercially focused finance professional looking for broad exposure within a rapidly growing international business.

  • Chartered Accountant, ideally with Big 4 training or experience within an established advisory environment
  • Strong academic background with a track record of high performance
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to combine detailed analysis with a strategic perspective
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability and ownership
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights
  • Willingness to relocate to the US and travel regularly across the division

Role and Reporting Lines

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will work across a portfolio of international businesses and partner closely with finance, operations, supply chain, sales and senior leadership. Responsibilities will include:

  • Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities and key drivers against budget, forecast and prior year
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership across revenue, margins, pricing, order intake, backlog, working capital and profitability
  • Analyse manufacturing performance including productivity, labour efficiency, capacity utilisation, material usage, inventory and operational efficiency
  • Develop and enhance reporting and KPI dashboards while improving consistency, data quality and analytical capabilities across the division
  • Develop business cases and financial models for capital investment, operational improvements and strategic growth opportunities
  • Support acquisitions and integration projects through financial modelling, market analysis, due diligence and post-acquisition performance tracking
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning while preparing monthly business reviews and executive-level analysis
  • Identify opportunities to automate and standardise reporting and finance processes while promoting a data-driven culture across the organisation
