Commercial Litigation Lawyer (Relocation to Cayman Islands)

We are working with a boutique offshore law firm based in the Cayman Islands for a Lawyer to join their Civil Litigation team. $150,000 - $160,000 (USD) salary.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join a growing disputes practice as a senior civil litigation attorney, managing a broad range of civil and commercial litigation matters from inception through to resolution. They will take ownership of their own caseload, appear in court, and work closely with partners on the strategic conduct of complex disputes.

They will draft pleadings and submissions, advise clients on litigation strategy and risk, and maintain strong client relationships with a high standard of client care. The role also includes supervising junior team members and contributing to business development and the wider litigation profile of the firm.

Essential Criteria:

• 5-7 years’ PQE;
• Strong commercial litigation background;
• Both solicitors and barristers welcome to apply. The firm is particularly interested in candidates qualified in Northern Ireland, Ireland or England/Wales;
• Technically excellent;
• Excellent advocacy and drafting skills;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks;
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships;
• Strong communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
