- Offer will be aligned based on experience and qualifications within approved salary range
- Base Salary: $140,000 to $160,000 USD per year (Tax Free/Net)
- Bonus Eligibility: Up to 30% Annual (Based on performance)
- Benefits: Vacation (15 days), Sick Days (10 days), Medical (100% Employer paid). After the fifth (5th) year of employment, this will increase to 20 days of vacation.

About the ONE|GT Restaurants & Dining: Perle – Signature French-Mediterranean restaurant featuring seafood-focused cuisine and an extensive wine program. Position Summary: The Director of Sales & Marketing of ONE|GT, Grand Cayman administers, manages, and controls the sales and marketing department to maximize sales revenue for the hotel and ensure an aggressive approach by all sales staff to meet budgeted goals and key hotel drivers. This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, overseeing the sales team, and ensuring effective, on-brand marketing efforts that drive business growth.
While the Director of Sales & Marketing reports directly to the General Manager, Remington Hospitality Sales and Marketing leadership will interface and assist in the direction of the Sales and Marketing function at the property.
Main Focus - Develop and implement targeted Sales & Marketing strategies for ONE|GT, Grand Cayman:
- Brand Marketing: Development and policing of ONE|GT’s distinct independent personality and market position as the only downtown, luxury hotel with rooftop experience in Grand Cayman
- Corporate and Financial Services Travelers: Capitalizing George Town’s financial hub status to attract business travelers.
- Government and Legal Business: Engaging officials and legal professionals visiting George Town.
- Group & Event (local catering) Business: Positioning the hotel as a prime venue for professional and social events.
- Luxury Leisure & Lifestyle Travelers: Establish relationships with consortia, wholesalers, and affluent-focused advisor groups to grow Retail, Package, and Wholesale occupancies, positively impacting property ADR growth.
- Cruise Ship Overflow and Day Visitors: Capturing cruise guests looking for premium day-use facilities.
- Extended Stay and Relocation Guests: Targeting professionals relocating to the financial and legal sectors with the only upscale extended-stay option in George Town.
- Destination Dining: Establishing the hotel’s restaurants as a premier dining destination for travelers, residents and expats.
- Development of Experiential Travel Niche Markets:
- Adventure/ Eco-Tourism Travel: Promoting proximity to diving, snorkeling, and eco-adventure attractions.
- Culinary Travel: Leveraging Grand Cayman’s renowned food scene and the hotel’s signature dining experiences.
- Wellness Travel: Marketing onsite and local wellness offerings: yoga, spa, etc.
- Own the property's digital marketing strategy end-to-end — website performance, social media presence, digital advertising, and online reputation management — ensuring all digital channels reinforce ONE|GT's brand positioning and directly support occupancy, ADR, and revenue goals.
- Direct digital distribution and content strategy across OTAs, metasearch, and the brand website, leveraging SEO, paid media, and performance analytics to optimize visibility and conversion, and regularly reporting digital channel ROI and market share (RevPAR/STR) alongside traditional sales metrics.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales & marketing strategies for the property, including targeted market segments, rate management, solicitation procedures, and advertising.
- Establish realistic annual business and marketing plans, including monthly reviews and updates to modify strategies as required by market conditions. Action to team with deployed SMART plans.
- Emphasize business review, control procedures and yield management to ensure a proper balance of rate availability to market demand.
- Create and execute an effective outside sales program to attract new business opportunities.
- Oversee the internal servicing of groups to ensure seamless execution of contracted sales.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team and the General Manager to align sales efforts with overall property objectives.
- Train & manage all sales and marketing staff, holding them accountable for actionable results and performance metrics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government tourism boards, destination marketing organizations (DMOs), and other public sector bodies to drive inbound travel.
- Collaborate with brand partners and national/regional tourism authorities to create joint marketing initiatives.
- Represent the property at regional travel and tourism trade shows, fostering partnerships with tour operators, travel agencies, and media.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for co-branded campaigns with government entities to boost visibility in key markets.
- Oversee participation in destination marketing campaigns, familiarization (FAM) trips, and industry events to showcase the property.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and monitoring to generate a brand identity within the market.
- Provide reporting and present performance updates to ownership, management and onsite executive team.
- Forecast revenue and expenses to aid in strategic planning and revenue management.
- Hold outside firms accountable to ROI, including but not limited to PR, marketing, soft brands, etc.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven hotel sales experience, demonstrating creative thinking and results-driven leadership. Luxury/lifestyle and independent hotel experience preferred.
- High work ethic and self-initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other hospitality and sales-related software (CoStar, Profitsword, Delphi, Revinate).
- Ability to travel as required to attend sales meetings, industry events, and client engagements.
- Regular attendance and adherence to established guidelines and business needs of the property.
- Must possess basic computational ability to analyze data and sales figures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines, while dealing with frequent interruptions. Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with staff while upholding confidentiality for both employees and guests.
- Ability to participate in and lead departmental and hotel team meetings as needed.
- Experienced in creating sales strategies, marketing plans and branding.
- Strong proficiency in revenue management strategies to proactively optimize local corporate transient business opportunities.
