About the Opportunities
From creating compelling content to helping promote the MRCC brand, you’ll play a key part in strengthening connections between Council and the community through:
- planning and delivering internal and external communication campaigns that showcase Council’s services, projects, events, programs, and community impact.
- supporting the development of strategies, policies, and processes that ensure all Council messaging is professional, consistent, on-brand, and aligned with our organisational goals.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Degree or diploma qualification in communications, public relations or a similar discipline with relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with a substantial background in professional public relations or communications.
- A commitment to professional communications practice to ensure internal and external stakeholders are well informed about Council decisions or developments.
- Awareness of regional and associated local government issues.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $96,410 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
