Classification Title: Comprehensive Ophthalmologist (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) Job Description: The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the area of comprehensive ophthalmology to expand our academic practice. Minimum Requirements: Completion of an ACGME-accredited ophthalmology residency program. Board certification or eligibility and licensure (or eligibility) to practice medicine in the State of Florida are required. Preferred Qualifications: Qualifications, in addition to clinical expertise, include a strong commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as participation in academic activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills are important.
