George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (GW MFA)
are seeking a full‑time,
Board‑Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist
to join a respected academic ophthalmology program in the heart of Washington, DC. This role offers an exceptional blend of high‑quality clinical care, cataract surgery, and hands‑on teaching within a thriving academic environment. Candidates will manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, provide essential comprehensive services, and play a key role in educating residents and medical students.

Educate and mentor residents and students
Responsibilities
Provide procedures like SLT, LPI, Yag laser, and cataract surgery to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff with administrative assistance and a technician
Document care using Epic
Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
Competitive compensation in the $250K-$375K range

Qualifications
Board Certified in Ophthalmology
Required: 5+ years of experience (following completion of training)
Experience in academic settings preferred
Eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia
This position is eligible for H1-B Visa sponsorship
