Job Title: Consultant General Surgeon - UAE Location: UAE Employment Type: Full-time Sector: Healthcare / Hospital / Medical Group About the Role A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its general, laparoscopic and emergency surgical services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon to join its growing clinical team. Role Overview The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Assess and manage elective and emergency general surgery patients. Perform open and laparoscopic procedures according to specialty scope and facility privileges. Provide perioperative care, complication management, ward rounds and outpatient follow-up. Collaborate with anaesthesia, ICU, radiology, gastroenterology, oncology and emergency teams. Contribute to surgical pathways, theatre efficiency, infection prevention and patient safety programs. Maintain accurate consent forms, operative notes, discharge summaries and clinical documentation.
