Consultant Psychiatrist – Forensic Mental Health Location: Alice Springs and Darwin , NT Salary Package: Up to $347,549 (inclusive of allowances) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join a Mental Health, Alcohol, and Other Drugs team in the Central Australia region. This role offers a rare opportunity to work across both forensic and community mental health settings in one of the most unique and culturally rich parts of Australia. This position is ideal for a specialist who is passionate about making a difference in remote and Indigenous health while contributing to teaching and training programs for medical students and psychiatry registrars. About the Role Deliver expert psychiatric care across community and forensic settings (50:50 split). Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health outcomes. What You’ll Bring Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent. Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
