Role Overview
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess oncology patients and determine appropriate radiotherapy indications within multidisciplinary care plans
- Develop treatment plans using modern techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT or brachytherapy according to facility capability
- Coordinate simulation, contouring, dose prescription, plan review and on-treatment assessments
- Manage radiation side effects, supportive care and survivorship follow-up
- Participate in tumour boards with medical oncology, surgery, radiology, pathology and palliative care
- Maintain radiation safety, documentation, consent and quality assurance standards
