Content Moderator (German-speaking)

Position: Content Moderator (German-speaking) Location: Hybrid Qormi, Malta (office) OR remote from anywhere in Malta Employment Type: Full-time Remuneration: Base salary + benefits About the Role We are seeking detail-oriented and motivated German-speaking Content Moderators to join our team in Malta. In this role, you will review user-generated content, ensure compliance with platform rules, and provide excellent customer support for an international online marketplace. Key Responsibilities Review and moderate user-generated content (e.g., sales ads) in line with company guidelines. Support users via email, responding to questions and inquiries clearly and professionally. Handle customer queries related to the online marketplace across various topics. Participate in training sessions to stay up to date on publication rules, market trends, and moderation best practices. Provide feedback to managers on common user challenges, trends, and improvements. Suggest updates to publication rules to enhance user experience. Follow communication procedures, policies, and escalation guidelines. Make consistent and fair decisions based on established policies. Requirements Native or fluent in German (spoken and written). Good command of English (B2 level or higher) . Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or online business is an advantage. Strong computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools. Flexible, reliable, and able to make quick decisions in dynamic situations. Excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset. Team player with a proactive attitude.
