The Role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager in far North Queensland to take ownership of contractual obligations, KPIs and performance measures of facilities maintenance contracts. The role will also be responsible for driving operational excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors
• Managing budgets, forecasts, and cost control
• Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and acting as a primary point of contact.
• Promoting Zero Harm and ensuring compliance with WHS and environmental standards.
• Driving continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Business, Asset Management, or Project Management.
• 7–10+ years’ experience in facilities or asset management with leadership accountability.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and deliver large-scale contracts.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Previous experience in hospitals/healthcare, defence / government housing highly desirable.
