We're recruiting an experienced Controls Engineer for an established US manufacturing operation in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

This is a hands-on engineering opportunity focused on industrial automation, PLC programming, control systems, SCADA integration and improving manufacturing equipment performance.

Relocation assistance is available for suitably qualified candidates currently authorised to work in the United States.

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams to support, troubleshoot and improve automated manufacturing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Programming, troubleshooting and optimising PLC-based industrial control systems.
• Developing, maintaining and supporting Ignition SCADA applications, including HMI interfaces, system monitoring and data integration.
• Diagnosing electrical, automation and control system faults to minimise production downtime.
• Supporting industrial networks, sensors, drives, instrumentation and automated equipment.
• Delivering control system upgrades, automation improvements and reliability projects.
• Working with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance, safety and manufacturing efficiency.
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven industrial controls or automation engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Practical experience with Ignition SCADA is essential.
• Experience with industrial HMIs, electrical controls, automation networks and equipment diagnostics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex automation problems independently.
• Strong communication skills and a practical, shop-floor-focused engineering approach.
  

Location & Relocation

This is a full-time, on-site position in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Relocation assistance is available for suitably qualified candidates willing to relocate within the United States.
