Cornea/External Diseases Specialist Opportunity in Greenville, NC
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Ophthalmology-Greenville are seeking a full-time BC/BE, fellowship-trained specialist in Cornea/External Disease to join our expanding ophthalmology program in Greenville, NC. Candidates with an interest in resident education and residency program development are encouraged to apply.
ECU Health Medical Center serves as a tertiary referral center, caring for a high volume of patients with complex ophthalmic conditions. ECU Health Ophthalmology is actively recruiting providers across all sub-specialties to join its growing multi-specialty practice.
The program launched an ACGME-approved Ophthalmology Residency that welcomed its inaugural class in summer 2026. The center benefits from a strong hospital-based referral system, as well as referrals from local optometrists and ophthalmologists, in a region with limited subspecialty coverage.
