Make the content that stops people in their tracks
As our Creative Lead in Dubai, you'll set that bar for Beautiful Destinations' largest market. You'll concept campaigns, sell them to the region's most ambitious tourism and hospitality brands, and direct the creators who bring them to life.
We are Beautiful Destinations
Beautiful Destinations is a multi-award-winning travel marketing company built where travel, the creator community and technology meet. We started as an Instagram account in 2012. Today we reach a community of 50M+ travelers and work with a network of 500+ creators, filmmakers and storytellers around the world.
We partner with tourism boards, hotel groups and travel brands to make content that works across the whole traveler journey, from the first spark of discovery to the moment someone books. Behind it sits an AI-enabled content platform and more than a decade of our own travel performance data.
Human creativity and authentic storytelling come first. Always. Technology is how we scale them.

The role
You'll be the senior creative voice for BD in the Middle East, based in Dubai.
Your work centers on a year-round program for our largest client: a slate of flagship campaigns each year, running alongside an always-on academy that develops the next generation of travel creators. You'll build a real creative partnership with the client, so you're already thinking about the next campaign before the brief lands.
For each campaign, you'll find the idea, write the outline scripts and treatments, cast the creators and guide the work from first frame to final cut. For new opportunities across the region, you'll turn a sales conversation into a treatment people want to buy, fast.
In the academy, you'll coach and motivate each cohort of creators and the known creators who mentor them. The curriculum is written. Your job is to sharpen it, maybe with an hour of editing or on AI where it needs one, and keep young creators pushing hard, resilient and looking forward.
We make ideas real through the work, and we share thinking early and often with clients. You'll sit alongside our Head of Creative and our Social Creative Lead as one of the people accountable for the craft of the whole business, from cinematic hero films to social, vertical and stills.
What you'll do
- Come up with original campaign ideas and write treatments for some of the Middle East's most ambitious tourism, hospitality and government brands.
- Present and sell creative directly to senior clients, including CMOs, with clarity and conviction.
- Turn early proposals into sharp, visual treatments and decks quickly, using tools like Claude Design to get strong ideas in front of clients sooner.
- Select and direct cinematic creators, self-shooting directors and social creators on flagship work, making the calls that protect the idea on the ground.
- Build and grow our creator network across the region.
- Coach academy creators and their mentors, and keep improving the curriculum from a filmmaking and craft point of view.
- Hold the quality bar across campaign films, social, vertical, stills and whatever format comes next, with feedback that turns good work into great work.
- Set creative principles for key clients so creators can move fast without losing the brand or the idea.
- Use AI image and video tools every day to explore more directions, visualize ideas earlier and lift the final product, while keeping the storytelling authentic.
- Bring new techniques, tools and references to the wider BD creative team, and help evolve how we make work.
What you'll bring
You were born from the craft of content. Maybe you started as a creator, a self-shooting director or an editor. Since then you've moved into creative development, as a creative lead at a production company, head of content or studio at a brand, or a creative director at a progressive agency. You still think like a maker.
We care more about the experience in your years than the years of experience. Around 8 years is a good guide. If you're a filmmaker or creator who has already pitched, directed and written treatments for clients and you're ready for the next step, talk to us.
- You understand how creators shoot, and you can develop, direct and oversee both cinematic and social-first work with confidence.
- You know a cinematic filmmaker, a social-first storyteller and a personality-led creator each need a different brief and different direction to do their best work.
- You've presented ambitious creative to senior clients, handled the pushback and won the room without watering the idea down. Confident, never arrogant.
- You've made work for travel, tourism, hospitality, luxury or government brands, and you can talk about its impact as well as show the film. Destination content is a big plus.
- You already use AI image and video tools to explore, visualize and iterate. We'll ask you to show us how they've made your work better.
- You get the best out of young creators. You can coach, motivate and keep people resilient under pressure.
- You protect the craft and still know great ideas can come from anywhere, including the client.
- You work fast, adapt easily and have strong people skills with creators, colleagues and clients alike.
GCC experience and a feel for the region are valuable. If you don't have them yet but you're serious about making the Middle East home, we'd still like to hear from you.
Is this you?
You'll love this role if you keep pushing yourself creatively, you're always chasing the next technique or tool, and you want to bring people with you as you move fast. BD is a small company growing quickly, and we want people who want to work differently, have fun and make great work.
It probably won't suit you if you like to spend weeks developing ideas before a client sees anything, if you're built for 360 advertising campaigns, or if you're wary of AI in the creative process.
