Crew Leader – Commercial Tent Installation

Tired of off-season shutdowns and seasonal layoffs? U.S. Tent Rental is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Tent Installer / Crew Lead to help lead our field operations in sunny Sarasota, Florida.

If you have proven experience managing install crews and erecting large-scale commercial clear-span structures, frame tents, and high-peak tension tents, we want to bring your expertise to our team. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise on-site install and takedown crews for high-end events, commercial galas, and major temporary site builds
• Oversee the safe layout, staging, anchoring, and assembly of clear-span structures, frame tents, and pole tents
• Inspect site conditions, conduct pre-install risk assessments, and ensure compliance with site safety protocols
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach forklifts, skid steers, and staking drivers
• Serve as the primary professional point of contact for clients, venue managers, and event planners on job sites
• Manage site efficiency and equipment care to minimize product damage and downtime

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years of lead-level experience in commercial event tent installation (clear-span structure experience required)
• Proven track record leading 4–10 person crews on complex job sites
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL Class A or B is a major plus)
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong knowledge of anchoring techniques, ballasting, wind load ratings, and structural safety
• Willingness to relocate to the Sarasota, FL area (relocation assistance provided upon hire)
• Must currently reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
