Position Overview
The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography examinations while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and exceptional patient care. This role also supports equipment proficiency, team collaboration, training, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout examinations.
- Operate CT equipment safely and effectively while maintaining technical proficiency.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation.
- Follow radiation safety practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and communicate maintenance or quality concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
- Participate in training, education, quality improvement, and departmental initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of current CT technology, protocols, and imaging best practices.

Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited or ARRT-approved Radiography Program
- ARRT Registered or eligible to obtain
- Florida Radiologic Technology License or eligible to obtain
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or eligible to obtain
