Position information Contract type: Full-time working in Da Nang Working schedule: 6 days/week Duration: one year or two year contract Probationary period: 2 months Starting date: The middle of August Training date: The end of July/the beginning of August Class size: 20-30 students for schools, 8-15 students for English centers GMonthly average teaching hours: 70-100 hours Salary: average monthly income from 26 million to 40 million Gross Work permit: sponsor You will play an important role in: Planning and conducting activities that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and learn actively. Following curriculum guidelines and preparing lessons on power points Motivating strong students to speak English more fluently and weak students to learn English without fear. Attending professional meetings and trainings organized by EIV or the school Checking attendance and mark the lesson on the schools website on the daily basis providing relevant and timely feedback for each student including Mid-term and final tests Uploading lessons PowerPoint in advance on every Sunday Marking all students tests and updating the score on the schools shared folder To succeed in the role, you: Hold a university degree and an ESL teaching certificate (TESOL/CELTA/TEFL 120 hours), For work permit process, you are required to provide your notarized degree and teaching certificate at the Vietnamese Embassy. Demonstrate native English proficiency (Non-native English teachers may also be considered based on qualifications) Exhibit proficiency in planning lessons on power points (Understanding how to use ChatGPT is a plus) Are excellent at working with young kids and teenagers Possess prior teaching experience in English at private secondary and high schools Display exceptional work ethic, open to constructive feedback Provide a reference letter from your previous employer Own a personal laptop
