You are known for your positive attitude and for being a quick-thinking team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. You are flexible by nature, able to quickly pivot and adapt to a dynamic workplace. The Professional Requirements You Must Have: · Minimum 1+ years’ experience · State certification/license as required to work as a Dental Hygienist · In depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g., HIPPA, OSHA) The Clinical Duties You Will Perform : · Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before and during their examination. · Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history. · Educate patients on how to care for their teeth with good oral hygiene, including proper brushing and flossing. · Clean and remove stains, plaque, and tartar from teeth. · Apply flourides and sealants for tooth protection. · Take and develop dental x-rays · Document treatment plans and care performed on patients. · Sterilize instruments and equipment.
