ABOUT THIS ROLE

Scaleup Connect is hiring on behalf of its client in the textile apparel manufacturing industry for the position of Deputy Manager Sales & Business Development. We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional with strong experience in B2B garment sales, lead generation, and client acquisition within the sportswear, activewear, or workwear sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, outreach, negotiations, and closures
• Identify and target buyers, distributors, retailers, and private-label clients
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing strategies
• Coordinate with production and sourcing teams to ensure timely order execution
• Manage key client accounts and maintain long-term business relationships
• Track sales KPIs and provide pipeline and forecast reports
• Mentor junior sales team members and support overall business growth

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Textile Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing or B2B garment sales
• Strong expertise in lead generation, negotiations, and account management
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Experience with CRM systems and MS Office
• Existing industry networks will be considered a plus
