Functional Job Title: Data Center Technicians Location: Reno/Sparks NV Contract Length: 6 months GC/USC/GC EAD Pay Rate: $27hr W2 or $30hr c2c/1099 – Self Corp Data Center Technicians We are looking for 12 technicians to start on April 30th in the Reno / Sparks NV area. Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment. Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. All applicants applying will be required to submit to a full background check, drug screen and employment verification. This is a contract role , 40-50 hours per week – Health Coverage – The hours are Monday – Friday – 5 x 8 hours- start time is 6:45am Key Responsibilities: Installation/decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment. Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness. Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles. Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work. Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies. Main Duties / Required: Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools. Must understand customer service. Clear understanding of job safety requirements. Be able to read and understand floor plans. Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing. Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cable. Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling. Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians. Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running service jobs. Possess skill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable, and perform all type of terminations. Capable of working in Data Centers Shall be able to install ladder racking and seismic bracing both above and under raise floor. Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting. Read and understand blueprints and design document Dress and furcate fiber trunks for splicing Maintaining orderly paperwork and running service Fusion Splice including Ribbon/Single OSP/ISP Install, connect, and decom network equipment Operate DSX 5000 tester/OTDR Tester Program testers Download test results to Linkware/Linkware Live Save test results, verify, and submit to customer Create mass labels and apply per Portmap Differentiate live cables from decom cable Copper testing and troubleshooting Conduct Service Swaps of live networking devices Understand "FIM" database and operate scanners PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Primarily walking, standing, and bending for extended periods with some sitting. Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written, visual and listening skills. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments. Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds. Ability to pull cables. Do not submit if you are looking for Contracts only Lead Data Center Technician Lead Cable Technician, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network cabling infrastructure within data center environments. In this role, you will guide and support a team of technicians, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders, interpret technical documentation, and maintain compliance with industry best practices. This position is ideal for individuals with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for mentoring others while driving operational excellence. Candidates must be able available to work all shifts; this location is a 24/7 operation. (7am-5pm, 10am-10p, 6am-6pm). Be able to read and understand job floor plan. Should be familiar on wiring schemes and wiring testing. Should be able to pull all types of low voltage cables. Should understand and be capable in performing field terminations and labeling. Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running midsize to large projects and service jobs. Possess skill to layout MDF and IDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations and should include basic understanding of fiber equipment, all types of cable and fiber terminations. Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting. Capable of working in Data Centers. Shall be able to work on analog, DSL, and be able to extend T1 lines. Be able to patch network equipment. Reports to Operations Manager and take daily directions from Technician, Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and Advance Senior Technicians. Track and submit timesheets for crew reporting Perform job walks Maintaining paperwork and running service jobs Copper/Fiber (term, test, splice, troubleshoot) Nice to have Skills: OSHA 30 Previous experience with the Union Workforce Key Skills / Words: (at least 6) Lead Technician Cable Fiber Bachelor's Degree Requirement is a plus but not needed Functional Job Title: Data Center Safety Supervisor Location (City State, Street Name): New Albany OHIO # of Positions: 5 available GC/USC/GC EAD Hourly/ Direct Hire Salary: $45hr W2 or $100,000 - $110,000 plus bonus and full benefits when converts to FT after 6 months Must have CHST certification or higher and have safety experience in a data center or commercial/industrial constructions Must have STS-C or higher/ (CHST, OHST, CSP) or a bachelor's degree in health and safety- and OSHA 30 The Safety Trained Supervisor Construction® (STSC®) is a premier BCSP certification for construction supervisors, foremen, and managers focusing on safety leadership, OSHA standards, and risk management. It requires 30 hours of safety training, two years of supervisory experience (or 4 years work experience), and passing a 100-question exam. CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician): More specialized for safety professionals dedicated full-time to construction safety. OHST (Occupational Health and Safety Technologist): Focuses on broader safety techniques and technical proficiency. CSP (Certified Safety Professional): The "gold standard" for safety management, requiring a degree and more in-depth experience.
