Director of Nursing (DON) - Canandaigua, NY

Harris Fields Search Partners is excited to partner with a leading long-term care facility in the search for multiple passionate and experienced Directors of Nursing (DON). These key leadership roles are responsible for supervising all nursing staff, implementing nursing policies, and ensuring the highest standards of care for residents. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise all nursing staff within the facility, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to enhance quality of care. Oversee the hiring process and ensure ongoing employment of qualified nursing staff. Maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure the nursing staff's skills are up-to-date through continuous education. Monitor and address nursing employee conduct to maintain a professional atmosphere. Stay informed about incidents within the facility to ensure safety and compliance. Assess the health needs of each resident and coordinate care plans accordingly. Position Requirements: Current State RN license is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting. Evidence of strong supervision and leadership skills. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
