Compensation: $165,000 – $185,000 + Performance Bonus

The Role

As the Director of Nursing, you will serve as the clinical heartbeat of the community. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals to ensure that our residents receive the highest standard of evidence-based care while maintaining strict adherence to California Title 22 and Federal regulations.

Key Executive Responsibilities:

• Clinical Strategy: Lead the assessment and admission process, ensuring individualized service plans (ISPs) reflect the highest level of person-centered care.
• Team Excellence: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high-performing nursing team; foster a culture of accountability and professional pride.
• Interdisciplinary Leadership: Collaborate with elite medical partners, pharmacies, and specialists to provide a seamless health experience for residents.
• Quality Assurance: Drive the community's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to maintain a "deficiency-free" standard.
• Fiscal Oversight: Manage the clinical budget, including staffing ratios, labor costs, and medical supply inventory.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Must be eligible for California endorsement).
• Leadership: 3+ years of experience as a DON, ADON, or Resident Care Manager in Senior Living, Memory Care, or Skilled Nursing.
• Expertise: Deep knowledge of State/Federal regulations and a track record of successful surveys.
• Communication: Polished executive presence with the ability to build rapport with affluent families and medical professionals.
• Adaptability: High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced Silicon Valley environment.
