The Opportunity

Hutchinson Consulting is conducting a search for an exceptional Director of Revenue Management to join one of the Caribbean's most prestigious luxury destination resorts.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, commercially minded revenue leader to oversee a sophisticated, multifaceted resort operation featuring luxury accommodations, private villas, championship golf, spa and wellness, extensive food and beverage offerings, weddings, and group business.

The resort has experienced multiple consecutive years of record growth and is seeking an entrepreneurial revenue management professional to build upon its strong foundation, identify untapped revenue opportunities, and drive the next phase of commercial success.

This is not a traditional rooms-focused revenue management position. We are specifically seeking someone who understands the complexities of total resort revenue optimization, including golf, spa, and ancillary revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies across accommodations, golf, spa, and other resort revenue centers.
• Maximize total resort revenue and profitability through sophisticated pricing, forecasting, inventory management, and business mix optimization.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through in-depth analysis of demand patterns, market segmentation, seasonality, and guest spending.
• Partner closely with senior leadership, reservations, sales, marketing, golf, spa, and finance teams to drive commercial performance.
• Evaluate group, wedding, golf, and leisure business opportunities to optimize total resort profitability.
• Enhance revenue forecasting, reporting, and analytical capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop innovative pricing and packaging strategies that maximize the value of the resort's diverse amenities and experiences.
• Build upon successful existing revenue strategies while introducing fresh ideas and measurable improvements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Significant senior-level revenue management experience within a large, complex luxury resort or destination hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in total resort revenue management beyond traditional guestrooms.
• Strong experience with golf and spa revenue management is highly desirable.
• Proven success optimizing revenue across multiple business segments, including leisure, group, and ancillary resort operations.
• Exceptional analytical, forecasting, pricing, and commercial strategy capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think independently, challenge conventional approaches, and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively with established senior executives and department heads.
• Experience with luxury destination resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, or other international markets is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate to the Caribbean.
