Distribution Designer

DST Engineers LLC is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Distribution Design Engineers (Design Engineer I & II) to join our team! Candidates should be from USA.

Location: Preferable Chicago & Wisconsin

Relocation assistance: Available

🔹 What You’ll Do

• Design and engineer electric distribution systems

• Prepare distribution design packages, drawings, and construction documents

• Analyze existing distribution systems and develop design solutions

• Coordinate with clients, utilities, field teams, and internal engineering teams

• Ensure designs meet utility standards, codes, and project requirements

• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and schedule requirements

🔹 What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• 3+ years of electric distribution design/engineering experience

• Strong knowledge of distribution systems, equipment, and utility design practices

• Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering/design software

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• ComEd experience is highly preferred

• Experience working with U.S. electric utilities is a plus
