I started Cleanie Group in 2019 to do cleaning and maintenance properly: trained people, clear standards and one point of contact for every client. Seven years on, there are 175 of us across the UAE, and I expect that to double to 350 within the next 12 months. That growth runs across Dubai Mainland and Dubai South, and now into Abu Dhabi, and it needs people who can run sites well, not just fill them.
The role
A Division Manager at Cleanie runs a group of cleaning sites and the supervisors who run them day to day. You're on site every week, you know your clients personally, and you're the person the supervisors call when something needs sorting. You report to the Head of Operations.
I'm hiring Division Managers for divisions across Dubai Mainland, Dubai South and Abu Dhabi.
What you'll do
- Take overall responsibility for cleaning delivery across every site in your division, so each one is worked to its scope and to Cleanie's standard.
- Plan labour, equipment and consumables across the division, and keep a close eye on productivity and cost.
- Lead the site supervisors: set priorities, manage rotas and cover, and review performance.
- Visit every site each week, inspect the work and put right anything that falls short.
- Meet clients, handle escalations and look after the relationships that keep contracts renewing.
- Survey sites and prepare estimates for new and additional work.
- Interview and hire for your division, and support new starters through induction and training.
- Keep health and safety, COSHH and quality compliance tight on every site, and report on your division to senior management.
Who I'm looking for
You've come up through cleaning, whether commercial, residential or specialist, and you've managed more than one site and the supervisors on them. That background is essential. If your operations experience is in restaurants, retail or another industry, I appreciate the interest, but this role won't be the right fit. I want STRICTLY those with professional cleaning backgrounds.
You'll also need:
- A solid grip of cleaning standards, rotas, consumables and site costs
- Confidence in front of clients, including when something has gone wrong
- A UAE driving licence, as you'll be travelling between sites every week
What we offer
- Industry leading pay
- Company vehicle
- Mobile phone
- Medical insurance
- Visa sponsorship
- 30 days' annual leave
How to apply
Apply here on LinkedIn or through cleanie.ae/careers. Tell me briefly which sites you've managed and how many supervisors reported to you. You'll hear back from us either way.
