This role focuses on industrial and commercial installations, maintenance, and repair , with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. The position offers exposure to a wide variety of projects, including residential, council, and government contracts , as well as opportunities to work in remote communities . When working away, you will be provided with bush rates, accommodation, and travel allowances . Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance on commercial, industrial, and government facilities. Service residential and council projects across Alice Springs and remote NT. Undertake scheduled and reactive maintenance, including fault-finding and repair. Read and interpret drawings, plans, and wiring diagrams. Adhere to Australian Standards, NT electrical regulations, and WHS protocols . Supervise apprentices or assistants when required. Work independently and flexibly, including remote travel and occasional on-call duties. Skills Proven track record in industrial and commercial electrical work . Strong skills in fault-finding, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance. Ability to work effectively in remote locations with minimal supervision. Excellent planning, time management, and communication skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and professional standards . Qualifications Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or ANZSCO-recognised equivalent). A-Grade NT Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain). Current White Card (Construction Induction).
