About the Role:

Our client—an elite research and development organization serving the US national security and defense sector—is seeking an experienced Electronic Systems Contracts Representative to manage full cradle-to-grave government contracts within a complex portfolio of programs.

This is a high-impact role focused on proposal capture, pricing strategies, negotiation, and ongoing client relationship management across a range of federal acquisition environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full contract lifecycle management including proposal, negotiation, execution, modifications, and closeout

• Interpret, apply, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations

• Engage in contract strategy and risk mitigation for R&D, production, BOA, IDIQ, and OTA contract types

• Serve as the official point of contact for government clients

• Mentor junior contracts staff and collaborate cross-functionally with technical and business teams

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred)

• 5–10 years of cradle-to-grave contract management experience

• Strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related federal acquisition regulations

• Demonstrated experience with proposal support, pricing data compliance, and negotiation strategy

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree or CFCM/CPCM a plus)

• U.S. Citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility)
