What you’ll do: You will contribute to the R&D team by designing analogue and digital circuitry for our audio products. You will develop, build, and test prototypes, create block diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts, and design to meet cost and functional targets. You will also support work to ensure our designs meet applicable EMC and safety standards, including supporting pre-compliance testing as necessary. In addition, you will contribute to research into new technology and support work to maintain existing products. Roles & Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Design analogue and digital circuitry for audio products. Develop, build, and test prototypes. Create block diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts. Design to meet cost and functional targets. Support EMC and safety requirements, including pre-compliance testing where necessary. Contribute to research into new technology and new opportunities. Assist in work required to support and maintain existing products. Work collaboratively with the R&D team to communicate progress, issues, and solutions effectively. Maintain clear and structured documentation of design work and outcomes. You probably have the following experiences & skills: BSc/BEng (or higher) in electronics. 3+ years’ experience in an electronics design role (preferably in an audio-related role). Schematic capture and PCB layout experience using Altium Designer. Proficiency in both analogue and digital circuit design. Experience with embedded systems including both hardware and firmware development Experience in testing, fault finding, and verification/validation of requirements. Strong organizational skills with a structured approach to documentation.
