This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Endocrinologist to join a collaborative team supported by a strong referral base and the comprehensive resources of a robust health system network.

• Collaborate with a dedicated, multidisciplinary team supported by APP’s, RN’s and MA’s)
• Enjoy a balanced outpatient schedule Monday through Friday with no call
• Provide care to an average daily census of 9-12 patients per day with potential for outreach once a month
• Serving a surrounding population of 230,000
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA registration
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using appropriate medical skills; provide inpatient and outpatient endocrinology consultations, accept physician referrals, and participate in hospital admissions and on-call coverage as needed.
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning with case management while promoting quality improvement, cost-effective care, and positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation to meet insurance requirements and appeal denials as needed; participate in medical education, research, and other academic initiatives as requested.

• Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
    • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
