Overview Bassett Healthcare Network , in Central New York is seeking full-time BC/BE Endocrinologist. Salary Range: $250,000-$300,000 . Sign-On Bonus: up to $100,000 Location: Cooperstown, NY Job Description & Responsibilities Join an established group of 3 physicians, 2 diabetes advanced practice clinicians, and 3 diabetes nurse specialists Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Outpatient endocrinology clinic care with shared in-patient call responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who have endocrinopathies including disorders of the pituitary, parathyroid, thyroid, adrenals, pancreas, metabolism and bone disease Provide appropriate follow-up care of patients (both in-clinic and remote) Collaborate with other specialties (such as endocrine surgery, nuclear medicine, nephrology, cardiology, neurosurgery, interventional radiology, among others) in the care of patients with endocrinopathies Supervision and teaching of medical residents and students in both outpatient and inpatient settings Opportunities for supported clinical research and quality improvement work Active involvement in division meetings, quality improvement work and CME (such as Medicine Grand Rounds) Visa Sponsorship Available - J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome to apply MD, DO or MBBS BC/BE Completion of an accredited USA Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain) BLS Certification Required DEA Required Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $250,000-$300,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.
