About the Role
Lead a hands-on engineering team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics workspace. The platform helps users understand how AI agents work with their data, diagnose quality issues, and improve the business context behind agent responses.
What You'll Do
Lead the team responsible for developing and improving the context platform.
Set technical direction, review designs, and contribute directly to engineering work.
Manage and support engineers, setting a high bar while helping them do their best work.
Recruit and develop strong engineering talent.
Help the team address challenges in debugging agent reasoning, managing business context, and balancing human feedback with automated improvement.
What We're Looking For
At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.
Experience managing teams of approximately 3 to 15 engineers.
Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product, beyond using AI tools in day-to-day work.
Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.
Background building technical products for technical users, such as developer tools, data products, or configurable software platforms.
Experience in a high-growth startup environment and a track record of sustained tenure in engineering roles.
Strong computer science fundamentals, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent technical experience.
