About the Role
As an Engineering Manager on an AI agent engineering team, you will lead engineers building and improving customer-facing agents for enterprise use. The role combines technical leadership, customer partnership, and hands-on problem solving to deliver reliable systems that can support complex interactions at scale.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers building AI agents for customer interactions.
Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their needs and turn them into scalable technical solutions.
Guide agent deployments from initial implementation through ongoing iteration and optimization.
Partner with product, design, and research teams to identify shared customer needs and inform platform improvements.
Help shape technical strategy and roadmaps for AI-powered customer support.
Promote strong engineering practices, ownership, and a high-quality standard while supporting team development.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of software engineering experience and 1 or more years managing or leading engineers.
Backend or product engineering experience building customer-facing products or complex distributed systems.
Production proficiency in Python and experience with TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
Comfort investigating system failures across complex technology stacks.
Strong communication skills and experience working directly with enterprise customers.
Experience with LLM applications, agentic workflows, or multimodal models is beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $300,000 to $360,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
