Engineering Manager, AI Agents

About the Role

Join an engineering team building and deploying AI agents for customer support. You will lead engineers through customer implementations and ongoing improvements, helping deliver reliable experiences that scale across industries.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and support the career development of a team of engineers.

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand their needs and turn them into scalable AI agent solutions.

• Oversee deployments from initial implementation through iteration and optimization.

• Work with product, design, and research teams to identify shared customer needs and inform platform direction.

• Help set technical strategy for AI-powered customer support while maintaining a high bar for quality and execution.

• Investigate complex system issues and guide the team toward reliable solutions.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 1 or more years managing or leading engineers.

• Experience as a backend or product engineer building customer-facing products and complex distributed systems.

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming.

• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with enterprise customers.

• Comfort investigating failures across complex technology stacks.

• Experience with LLM applications, agentic workflows, or multimodal models is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $300,000 to $360,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
