About the Opportunity

We are recruiting a qualified Middle School English Teacher for a school located in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The school is seeking an experienced educator with a strong understanding of the American Curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging, structured English lessons that support students' language development, reading comprehension, writing skills, and academic progress.

The successful candidate will contribute to effective curriculum delivery, maintain a positive classroom environment, and support students in achieving their learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school's American Curriculum.
• Teach middle school students English language skills, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities appropriate to students' learning needs.
• Assess student progress through assignments, classroom activities, examinations, and other appropriate assessment methods.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their academic performance.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning abilities and educational needs.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and academic development.
• Maintain appropriate records of student progress and follow the school's academic policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
• Recognized teaching qualification.
• At least three years of English teaching experience within the American Curriculum.
• Experience teaching at the middle school level.
• Strong lesson planning, curriculum delivery, and classroom management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• IELTS score of 7.0 or above, in accordance with the school's requirements.

IELTS flexibility: Candidates who have not yet completed IELTS may be considered if they are willing to take the test after joining, subject to the school's approval and applicable employment requirements.

Salary and Benefits

The compensation package includes:

• Basic salary: AED 10,500 - 11,000 per month.
• Housing allowance: AED 45,000 per year.

• 50% tuition discount for up to three children, subject to the school's applicable terms and conditions.
