English Teacher- MYP

We are an IB school seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher for Secondary School to join our academic community.

The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging, inquiry-based learning aligned with the IB philosophy, fostering critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for literature and language.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language and Literature to Secondary School students.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB framework.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects.
• Actively support safeguarding and student wellbeing policies.

Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field.
• Teaching experience at Secondary School level (IB experience is an advantage).
• Native or near-native level of English.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and international-mindedness.
• Willingness to relocate to Bogotá, Colombia.
