Enterprise Customer Success Manager
San Francisco (on-site 5 days a week) | Full-time | $148K–$192K base, $185K–$240K OTE + equity
Careerscape is hiring Enterprise Customer Success Managers on behalf of a venture-backed, cash-flow-positive AI company that serves banks and credit unions. Its voice and chat AI connects directly to banking systems, so members can move money, open accounts and get answers in real time. Hundreds of financial institutions already use the platform, and the company is growing its customer success team after a recent funding round.
Each CSM owns about 20 strategic accounts worth roughly $5M in annual recurring revenue, working with VP- and C-level leaders. You will report to a customer success leader who is rebuilding the function with AI tools, and you will work closely with sales, product and the CEO. Early hires help shape the playbook rather than inherit an old one.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the main point of contact and trusted advisor for executives at your accounts
- Drive adoption, account health and renewals; spot risk early and lead recovery plans before customers escalate
- Run data-driven quarterly and executive business reviews with VP and C-level stakeholders
- Find expansion opportunities and work them with the sales team to grow net revenue retention
- Turn platform metrics (automation, adoption and containment rates) into a clear business story
- Speak credibly about how the AI product works, and bring customer feedback to product and engineering with data
- Keep account health, risk flags and renewal forecasts accurate in the CRM
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years as a Customer Success Manager for enterprise or mid-market B2B SaaS customers
- Experience owning large books of business ($3M+ in ARR) and relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders
- At least 1 year at a venture-backed startup (Series A–D), building or improving processes rather than following an established playbook
- A product-minded approach: you understand technical products in depth and can explain how capabilities create business value
- Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in your daily work
- A bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco 5 days a week and travel to customer sites 1–2 days a month
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, banking or credit union software, conversational AI, or contact center (CCaaS) software
Compensation
$148,000–$192,000 base salary with an 80/20 base/variable split (OTE $185,000–$240,000), plus equity and benefits. Visa transfers (for example H-1B or OPT) can be considered.
