Job Overview
Ready to shape how quality is built into manufacturing processes? Marvin is hiring an Enterprise Quality – Production Manager to lead an enterprise strategy focused on preventing defects at the source. In this role, you will partner with quality, operations, and engineering leaders to stabilize manufacturing processes, strengthen process capability, and reduce product escapes. You will also establish consistent methods, priorities, and performance expectations across manufacturing sites while helping local teams sustain measurable improvements.
You’ll excel if you bring multi-site manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of quality systems, process control, and structured problem-solving. Success requires the ability to translate performance data into practical priorities, influence plant leaders, and build accountability across functions without relying on direct authority.
This role is located in Warroad, MN. Marvin offers an extensive relocation benefit package that includes the movement of your household goods, temporary housing, and much more – in addition to a relocation counselor to assist you throughout the entire journey.
Highlights of your role
- Develop and deploy a consistent enterprise production quality strategy, including common standards, governance, metrics, and review routines focused on quality at the source, defect prevention, and process control.
- Lead, coach, and develop Quality Engineers while building plant capability in process control, layered audits, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and structured problem-solving.
- Partner with Quality, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Supply Chain leaders to prioritize quality risks and translate enterprise expectations into practical shop-floor controls, standard work, and accountability.
- Establish and sustain dimensional control plans, in-process checks, reaction plans, measurement-system discipline, layered audits, and other controls for critical product and process characteristics.
- Reduce product escapes and process variation by coordinating containment, root-cause analysis, corrective action, effectiveness verification, and enterprise countermeasures across manufacturing sites.
- Strengthen cross-site alignment by sharing proven practices, replicating effective countermeasures, and communicating production quality concerns to Pre-Production Quality, Post-Production Quality, and Engineering partners.
- Use quality and process-performance data to identify trends, prioritize resources, launch improvement efforts, and verify that corrective actions and quality gains are sustained.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Five or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing quality, operations, engineering, or continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience improving quality performance and deploying consistent practices in a multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of quality management systems, process control, root-cause analysis, corrective action, process capability, and data-based decision-making.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing plant leaders without direct authority, and traveling regularly to manufacturing sites based on business needs.
Also want to make sure you have
- Advanced knowledge of statistical process control, measurement systems, control plans, layered process audits, and process capability methods.
- Lean, Six Sigma, ASQ, or a related quality certification.
- Experience implementing common quality standards and metrics across multiple manufacturing locations.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, strategic-thinking, and executive-communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise change while enabling site ownership and accountability.
