Job Description
Job Description
Our client, an established engineer-to-order manufacturer of industrial equipment serving customers worldwide, is hiring a business-focused Epicor Kinetic Cloud Platform Owner. The company is completing its move to Kinetic Cloud and needs a long-term owner who will see the implementation through and then drive ongoing support and improvement for years to come.
This is a permanent, full-time role that blends business process ownership, functional administration, and hands-on Kinetic development. You’ll partner closely with finance, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, sales, and operations in a complex engineer-to-order (ETO) and configure-to-order (CTO) environment. A dedicated integration resource is planned to support you.
Location: Eau Claire, WI Area. Full-time onsite is preferred, with relocation assistance available. A hybrid schedule may be considered, with at least one full week onsite each month plus additional onsite time for key milestones such as testing, training, and go-live. Regional candidates preferred.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary administrator and go-to expert for Kinetic Cloud, including day-to-day user questions
- Manage configuration, environments, upgrades, patches, and system performance
- Design and maintain role-based security, segregation of duties, and audit and compliance controls
- Own user provisioning, access reviews, and security governance
- Put master data governance in place and enforce it for items, units of measure, vendors, and the chart of accounts
- Configure Kinetic to meet business requirements and objectives
- Lead process improvement efforts across the business with a focus on usability, efficiency, and scalability
- Build and maintain BPMs, reports, and analytics, and support ECM, APIs, and integrations
- Support connected third-party applications such as tax, CRM, integration, and expense platforms
- Create training materials and programs that drive user adoption
- Test new and modified functionality and troubleshoot issues, working with vendors when needed
- Champion change management and challenge “we’ve always done it this way” thinking
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, operations management, business, computer science, or a related field
- 5+ years of Epicor experience, including at least 3 years on Kinetic Cloud
- Hands-on experience with at least two Kinetic Cloud upgrades
- 5+ years in a hands-on business role such as finance, accounting, procurement, operations, manufacturing, sales, or engineering
- 5+ years leading business process improvement or reengineering
- 5+ years writing requirements, requirement documents, and process flows
- Two or more full lifecycle implementations of a tier 1 ERP such as SAP or Oracle
- Experience building and maintaining complex BPMs
- Experience with PCIDs, warehouse management, and logistics solutions
- Proven track record as the bridge between business and technical teams
- Experience in a matrix organization, working independently with minimal direction
- Strong communication, facilitation, and advisory skills
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Comfortable juggling multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
Preferred:
- Advanced degree
- Experience at a manufacturing company with $300M+ in revenue, ideally in an ETO/CTO environment
- Integration experience with MuleSoft
- Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Revenue Cloud
- Experience supporting Avalara and Concur integrations
