ERP Systems Administrator 2904 Job Ref.: 2904 Job Title: ERP Systems Administrator Role: Information Technology Relocation Available: Yes Industry: I.T. Location: Minnesota Town / City: Glenwood Job Type: Permanent full-time Job description: SUMMARY: Primarily to assist in support and protect the infrastructure, data, services, hardware, software, connectivity, devices and peripherals as necessary to achieve 99.5% uptime of deemed the MRP/ERP critical systems/processes including to all remote locations. This includes proactive planning for development for improvement, minimize business risks of data loss, business disruption, failure or breach of security, successful administration of an internal IT user help desk by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. • Assist in Administration, testing, installation, and maintenance of infrastructure hardware, software, upgrades for servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, wiring and telecommunications services. Infrastructure is also to include personal computers, system software, websites, software applications, printers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and internet service providers. • Supports outside service to proactively anticipate integrated system needs and contributes to design/configuration of solution architecture, integration, installation and user training. • Coordinates installation of hardware and software as needed with support services. • Develops and provides support and training of users in system software, administration and solution usage. • Communicates and coordinates as directed with adequate advanced notice solution maintenance schedule, data backups that may temporarily disrupt system services for users. • Coordinator of third-party support maintenance for solution hardware, software, and integrated services. • Prepares and maintains documentation of solution configuration and user training materials. • Assist in the administration of an IT user help desk to respond to the needs and questions of users concerning technical questions related to the MRP/ERP system. Intimate working knowledge of this solution is a requirement for this position. • Aids in development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the solution and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup. • Establishes and maintains solution users, user environment, and security. • Openly consults with department managers to gather and document requirements to develop IT solutions consistent with organizational objectives. • Researches, evaluates new technologies with Director of IT and other members of the IT department. • Develops, implements and routinely tests disaster recovery procedures. EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE): Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bottom Line Requirements: 1. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2. 2+ years of ERP systems administration experience. 3. Experience leading at least one full ERP systems implementation and working with all departments.
