Your main tasks in this role are:

As an SCM Expert, you will support ALDI’s international supply chain by keeping the global Supplier Logistics Manual up to date and continuously improving its structure
You take ownership of structuring, reviewing, and refining handbook content, ensuring that supplier requirements are easy to understand, consistently documented, and ready to be used across countries and business area
You work closely with internal departments and international stakeholders to collect input, align different perspectives, and translate complex operational requirements into clear and business-friendly wording
You support communication with suppliers and contribute to making processes, expectations, and responsibilities transparent and accessible
As a second focus area, you support selected Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities, such as supplier performance monitoring, reporting improvements, and project-related coordination

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

You have completed an adequate education in Business Administration, Economy, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
You bring professional experience in process documentation, supplier management or a comparable business environment
You enjoy bringing structure into complex topics and have a strong ability to develop, maintain, and improve clear documentation, guidelines, or handbook content
Your excellent writing, wording, and editing skills enable you to turn detailed requirements into precise, user-friendly, and professional texts
You enjoy working in an international environment and feel confident aligning with internal departments, countries, and business stakeholders in a constructive and solution-oriented way
You communicate confidently with suppliers and stakeholders and manage updates, feedback, and follow-ups in a reliable and well-organised manner
Your business-fluent English and strong communication skills support your work in our international setup
Experience or interest in supplier relationship management, supplier performance, and reporting is an advantage

Gross annual salary starting from € 55.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
