Eastern Riverina & Upper Murray Build your reputation. Back better farming decisions. Keep growing your expertise. Every season brings a different challenge. No two farms are the same, and the best answer isn't always the most obvious one. That's what makes good agronomy valuable. Elders is looking for agronomists to join our network across the Eastern Riverina, North-East Victoria and Upper Murray. Whether you're an experienced agronomist ready for a bigger platform, an early-career agronomist looking to accelerate your development, or an agricultural graduate ready to build your career, we'd like to hear from you. Agronomy with room to grow Great agronomy isn't simply about recommending a product. It's about understanding the farming system, walking paddocks, asking the right questions and adapting when conditions change. It's about earning the trust of producers so that, when an important decision needs to be made, they want you at the table. At Elders, you'll have the opportunity to build those relationships and develop your own reputation, supported by the reach, technical capability and connections of one of Australia's largest agribusiness networks. Work across a diverse agricultural region Our footprint across the Eastern Riverina, North-East Victoria and Upper Murray covers some of Australia's most productive and diverse agricultural country. You'll have the opportunity to work across: Broadacre cropping Mixed farming Irrigated agriculture Livestock enterprises Diverse seasonal and production environments For an agronomist who is curious, commercially minded and keen to keep developing, it's a region that offers plenty of scope to build expertise. And outside work, regional NSW and North-East Victoria offer strong communities, space, lifestyle and access to major regional centres. What you'll do Build trusted, long-term relationships with producers and their businesses. Provide practical agronomic advice across crop planning, nutrition, crop protection and seasonal decision-making. Spend time on-farm and in the paddock understanding what's actually happening. Help customers identify opportunities to improve productivity, profitability and manage risk. Develop your own customer portfolio and professional reputation. Stay connected to emerging research, technology, products and farming practices. Work alongside agronomists, technical specialists and teams across Elders' rural products, livestock and financial services businesses. Participate in trials, field days, demonstrations and industry events. Backed by more than a branch One of the advantages of practising agronomy with Elders is the depth of the network behind you. You'll be part of a national technical community with access to experienced agronomists, specialists, suppliers, crop protection expertise and a growing farm advisory network. That means having people to challenge your thinking, share knowledge with and call when you encounter something you haven't seen before. At the same time, you'll have the autonomy to understand your district, know your customers and build relationships in the way good regional agronomy requires. Who we're looking for We're interested in speaking with people at different stages of their careers: Experienced agronomists — looking for greater opportunity, support, autonomy or a bigger platform. 2–5-year agronomists — ready to accelerate their technical development, broaden their experience and build their own customer portfolio. Graduates and emerging talent — looking to learn agronomy properly, in the paddock and alongside experienced people. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Agricultural Science, Agronomy or a related discipline will be highly regarded. More importantly, you'll enjoy solving problems, spending time with producers and continually building your technical knowledge. Trust is earned over seasons, not sales. Why Elders? Elders has been part of Australian agriculture for generations. Today, we're continuing to invest in technical capability, advisory services, technology and the people who work directly with Australian producers. You'll have access to: Competitive remuneration Relocation assistance where required Ongoing technical and professional development Mentoring and support from experienced people across the business A broad network of agronomists and technical specialists New technology, research and evolving farming systems Opportunities to develop specialist expertise Career pathways across a large and diverse Australian agribusiness The opportunity to build a long-term career while remaining connected to regional agriculture Interested in what your next chapter could look like? You don't need to be actively looking for another job. If you're curious about the opportunities available, we'd be happy to have a confidential conversation about your experience, where you'd like your career to go and where there might be a fit within our network. Express your interest today or contact Justin Wheatley on 0459 814 199 for a confidential discussion. Please note, applications may be shortlisted as they are received. At Elders, we strive to create a safe environment where everyone can thrive. We aspire to do this by recognising talent, promoting inclusion and celebrating diversity. No matter how you identify, we encourage talented people from all backgrounds, abilities and identities to apply for roles at Elders. We will accept applications from all people with the right to live and work in Australia. #LI
