Faculty Member, Department of Oncology - Division of Survivorship

We seek a highly motivated clinician scientist or clinician educator at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Member (Professor) level to join the Division of Cancer Survivorship within the Department of Oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The candidate should have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree and Board certified or Board eligible in family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, or pediatric hematology-oncology with a track record of excellence in academic potential, a strong interest in cancer survivorship research, and a commitment to outstanding clinical care for survivors of childhood and adolescent cancer.

The position will report to the Director of the Division of Survivorship and provide clinical care in the After Completion of Therapy (ACT) Clinic, which provides follow-up care for eligible survivors treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and supports a wide range of survivorship research activities.

The Division of Survivorship provides a highly collaborative and interactive environment where faculty members have ample opportunities and support to pursue interests in clinical, educational, cancer control, population science, and/or translational research. The ACT Clinic and the Division of Cancer Survivorship have a long history of strong collaboration with the Department of Epidemiology including collaboration in the ongoing St. Jude Lifetime Cohort Study and the Cancer Control and Survivorship Program within the St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center. As an integral team member of the division, the faculty member is expected to ensure alignment of individual goals with divisional, departmental, and institutional strategic goals, while promoting outstanding multidisciplinary care.
