Seeking a highly qualified individual for a one-year advanced transplant nephrology fellowship in an ACGME-accredited program. This role focuses on developing expertise in managing kidney transplant patients, including candidate and donor selection, perioperative care, and post-transplant management.
Training is primarily conducted at a leading transplant institute, with rotations in immunogenetics, transplant nephropathology, and involvement in multi-organ transplantation such as heart, lung, and liver. The fellow will participate in transplant candidate evaluation and management of complex recipients, gaining comprehensive clinical and research experience.
Candidates should have completed U.S.-based internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship, demonstrating exceptional academic and clinical performance, enthusiasm, and dedication. The program supports Visa candidates and values applicants with strong scientific potential.
Application requirements include a CV, two recommendation letters (one from the Nephrology Program Director or Chief), and a personal statement outlining career goals and motivation.
Upon completion, fellows will meet criteria for UNOS certification as transplant nephrologists, preparing them for a career in transplant medicine.
