About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join the technical team of one of our clients operating in the packaging machinery and industrial automation sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, assembly, and commissioning of advanced machinery and automated systems, ensuring that all equipment operates reliably and meets the required quality and safety standards.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As part of the technical installation team, your activities will include:

• Building, fitting, and installing machinery, and automated material-handling systems.
• Carrying out on-site assembly activities and contributing to the successful start-up of newly installed equipment.
• Establishing connections to main electrical control panels and switchboards.
• Supporting input/output verification, system testing, and commissioning procedures.
• Inspecting completed installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements.

Your Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you should have:

• A technical education at VMBO Level 4 or MBO Level 3, preferably specializing in Mechatronics.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar technical role.
• The ability to understand and interpret engineering documentation, including electrical schematics and EPLAN drawings.
• A valid forklift operator certificate and VCA safety certification, or the motivation to obtain them.
• A valid category BE driving licence.
