Field Service Technicians – AC/DC Motors & Rotating Equipment

Indiana, PA | Chicago, IL | Cleveland, OH

$25–$40 per hour, depending on location and experience

INFINITEK, a specialist technical recruitment consultancy, is working in partnership with an industrial services provider to recruit Field Service Technicians across three locations:

• Indiana, PA: 1 position | $25–$35 per hour
• Chicago, IL: 3 positions | $28–$35 per hour
• Cleveland, OH: 5 positions | $26–$40 per hour

There is flexibility on the advertised rates for candidates with relevant experience. These roles offer the opportunity to work on AC/DC motors and other rotating equipment at customer sites. We are interested in speaking with technicians who have hands-on experience installing, disconnecting, dismantling and rebuilding industrial motors.

What’s on offer:

• Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities.
• Paid door-to-door travel from leaving home or the office until returning.
• Time and a half after eight hours and double time on Sundays.
• Company truck, phone, laptop and credit/fuel card.
• Relocation assistance of up to $10,000.

What we’re looking for:

• At least two years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps or similar industrial rotating equipment.
• Experience installing, disconnecting, dismantling and rebuilding motors.
• Familiarity with components including bearings, brushes, sleeves and gearboxes.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and interpret technical drawings.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.

Generator experience, laser alignment, electrical testing or vibration analysis experience would be beneficial.

The roles are field-based, with work generally within a three-hour radius of the relevant office. Candidates can work remotely and should ideally live within a one-hour drive of the office. Candidates willing to relocate are welcome.
