Finance Agent Orchestration Manager

About the Role

Join the finance team at an early-stage venture capital firm as its second finance hire, working directly with the Head of Finance. You will oversee core fund finance operations across multiple funds and lead the rollout of an AI-native fund administration platform, helping build efficient, reliable workflows as the firm grows.

What You'll Do

• Own fund accounting, LP reporting, and capital account statements across multiple funds.

• Implement and calibrate an AI-native fund administration platform.

• Automate repetitive finance workflows using tools and systems that improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain investment data, valuations, and portfolio company records.

• Support strategic finance projects alongside the Head of Finance, including office acquisitions and cross-portfolio work.

What We're Looking For

• Three to five or more years of experience in VC or PE fund accounting, fund administration, investment fund audit, or finance implementation at an AI-focused startup.

• Hands-on experience producing LP reporting, including quarterly reports and capital account statements.

• Strong understanding of capital calls, distributions, NAV, management fees, and fund financial statements.

• Experience automating or rebuilding finance workflows, using tools such as Excel macros, Power Query, SQL, Python, Airtable, or AI tools.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Interest in deep tech, science, or impact, alongside a practical and proactive approach to finance operations.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary is $133,000 to $160,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site, five days per week in San Francisco, California, United States.
