Title: Finance Manager – Manufacturing

We are seeking a Finance Manager to provide financial leadership for a Central Illinois manufacturing operation. This role partners closely with Operations and Supply Chain to drive profitability, cost efficiency, continuous improvement, and operational performance.
- Lead site financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and profit planning.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, including sales, production mix, variances, COGS, fixed/variable costs, and KPIs.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on productivity, cost reduction, quality, inventory, working capital, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead financial analysis for CAPEX, new projects, and operational investments.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, physical inventory, cycle counts, and cost absorption.
- Support SIOP, MRP, production planning, and facility/product improvement initiatives.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business decisions.
- Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure accurate financial and operational data within ERP systems.
- Partner with corporate Finance, Controllership, Shared Services, Payroll, and FP&A teams.
- Lead, develop, and mentor finance team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive finance/cost accounting experience.
- 2+ years of direct people leadership/management.
- Manufacturing, distribution, or similar operational experience required.
- Large plant with > 200 experience highly desirable
- Strong cost accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP, Oracle, AS400, MAPICS, Vista, ENCORE, and Power BI preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial leaders.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Salary Expectation: 130K-160K + bonus, excellent benefits
