Role Description
TAE Private Wealth is seeking an experienced Financial Adviser to join our growing Tasmanian team.
The successful candidate can nominate Launceston or Devonport as their primary office and will step into an established client portfolio, supported by experienced paraplanning, administration and compliance resources. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity suited to an adviser with at least five years of experience who values long-term client relationships, high-quality strategic advice and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within a growing wealth management business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and developing relationships with new and existing clients
• Leading client discovery, strategy and review meetings
• Developing tailored financial strategies aligned with each client’s goals and circumstances
• Providing advice across retirement planning, superannuation, investments, wealth accumulation, estate and intergenerational planning and related strategic areas
• Helping clients understand complex financial decisions clearly and confidently
• Reviewing client circumstances and identifying opportunities to improve financial outcomes
• Working collaboratively with advice, client service, paraplanning and compliance teams
• Preparing and maintaining accurate, timely and compliant client records and key advice documentation
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of TAE Private Wealth in Tasmania
• Upholding high professional, ethical and client service standards
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for someone with:
• At least five years of experience providing financial advice
• The education, professional and registration requirements applicable to providing personal financial advice in Australia
• Strong technical knowledge across retirement planning, superannuation, investments and holistic wealth strategy
• Demonstrated experience independently managing client relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to translate complex financial strategies into clear advice clients can understand
• High professional and compliance standards
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for clients
• Demonstrated proficiency in XPLAN and the ability to use the platform confidently in day-to-day advice delivery
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate, high-quality key advice documentation
• A collaborative approach and commitment to consistently high-quality client outcomes
What We Offer
• Base salary of $150,000 to $165,000 + super, depending on experience

• Hybrid working, with approximately three office or client-facing days and up to two remote days each week once established in the role
