Financial Analyst

Role Description The Financial Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilmington, DE. This role is responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Financial Analyst will interpret financial statements, monitor key performance indicators, and provide insights to support strategic and operational decision-making. Daily responsibilities include building financial models, conducting variance and trend analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives. The role also involves preparing presentations for leadership, maintaining accurate financial records, and contributing to process improvements in financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge and advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex data and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Financial Planning expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Candidates should possess skills in Financial Statements analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Candidates should possess Financial Reporting skills, with experience preparing management reports and dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a relevant master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with business intelligence or reporting tools is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
