Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations, accounting records, and reporting accuracy.
• Responsible for completing tax finalization, corporate accounting, and financial reporting.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor daily and monthly financial indicators, analyze performance, and advise management on business goals.
• Monitor costs, expenditure, and financial performance to improve profitability.
• Implement internal controls and oversee cash management and financial risk.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and Resort policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead and develop Finance & Accounting, Purchasing, and IT teams.
• Oversee purchasing activities, IT operations, and departmental budget compliance.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and cross-departmental collaboration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 YOE in hotel or resort finance and accounting, including experience at the Manager level or equivalent.
• Proficient in financial systems and processes, including PR, PO, OPERA, SUN Systems, Smile,...
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, internal controls, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
